About Us

Progressing with Parkinson's was created by second year students at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Initially, this was a project for a second year Clinical Neuroscience course. The purpose of this project was to raise awareness for our chosen disease by involving the community, which is why we decided to create this website.

Progressing with Parkinson's signifies not only the innovative research being done to advance the cures for this disease, but it also gives credit to those living with PD. The goal of this website is not only to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease, but also to give the viewers a more complete experience of a PD patient's quality of life.
